Here are some helpful things to consider when searching for a real estate photographer in your market.

  1. Read reviews and attempt to discern if things appear to be legitimate. This is applicable to anything at this point really but a good indicator of quality reviews is if there are a substantial amount of local guides that have given 5 stars

  2. Look for consistency in their portfolio/photo gallery

  3. Make sure their work resonates with you. Generally if you don't feel compelled you should probably keep looking.

  4. If the price appears to be too good it probably is. Don't let sticker shock deter you. Remember this is an investment for your future and current success. Generally photographers that have higher prices have been around longer, offer consistent quality, are professional and will be a real asset to your team.

  5. Check for color balance, proper exposure and angles that truly make sense and accentuate the assets of the home/property.

  6. Confirm that they use state of the art equipment and techniques. Technology is progressing rapidly and you deserve to know that your photographer is utilizing the best tools to showcase your listing as effectively as possible.

  7. Make sure they offer the most effective services. Services such as 3D Immersive Matterport Tours, Twilight photography, Aerial photography and video, Cinematic walkthrough tours, virtual staging and of course Luxury real estate photos for the MLS and property website.

  8. Confirm that the photographer offers their services in your area. I serve Katy, Fulshear, Cypress and the greater Houston area in Texas.
